Blessing of the Backpacks

& Cereal Potluck

At 9 AM, we kickoff the school year with our Cereal Potluck -- just bring your favorite cereal to share and we'll provide everything else. It's a sweet, simple way to celebrate together!

During our 10 AM Traditional Service, don't forget your backpacks because we are going to offering blessings for the school year to students and teachers with backpack tags to take home.

Acolyte Sunday

On Acolyte Sunday, we celebrate the children who serve our congregation by bringing Christ’s light into our sanctuary and carrying it out into the world. These young leaders remind us that worship belongs to all generations.

Our children aren't just the future of the church—they are a vital part of who we are today.

Squeeze the Day 5K

Lace up your running shoes and join  us in supporting the  Methodist Children's Home of Southwest Louisiana!  At the Methodist Children's Home, we provide comprehensive, intensive residential services to children ages 12-17 with emotional and behavioral needs. Just as we turn lemons into lemonade, we believe that faith and community can transform challenges into hope and healing.

Sulphur High School Community Tailgate

Fuel up, gear up, and join us for the ultimate pre-game tradition. We bring the community together for great food and high energy so that every student, family, and fan feels an undeniable sense of belonging and creates lifelong memories before the stadium lights even turn on.

Trunk R Treat

Join us for a vibrant, safe, and candy-filled Trunk or Treat in the parking lot. We bring the neighborhood together in a well-lit, festive space so that parents can completely relax and enjoy the evening while our kids experience the pure joy of childhood wonder and community celebration.

Breakfast with Santa

Pull up a chair for a warm holiday breakfast, festive crafts, and a special visit from St. Nick. We take care of every detail and create a stress-free morning so that you can step out of the holiday rush, look your children in the eyes, and watch them experience the magic of the season without a single distraction.

Advent Village

Every December, our Family Life Center transforms into a bustling, living marketplace from the very first Christmas.

Advent Village is an immersive, family-friendly experience that brings the story of Jesus’ birth to life.

Escape the modern holiday rush and step back in time 2,000 years to experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of ancient Bethlehem.

Parent's Night Out and

Youth Lock-In

Our younger children (ages 3–11) will enjoy a high-energy Parents' Night Out from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while our teenagers stick around to kick off their epic overnight Youth Lock-In.

We are pairing these two events so that our older youth can step into leadership and build deep, lasting friendships, our younger kids can experience a safe night of pure fun, and our parents can enjoy a completely guilt-free, much-needed window of time to rest and recharge.
