Welcome to Sensory Family Fellowship

Sensory Family Fellowship is an onsite outreach ministry offering a safe, structured, and sensory-attentive space for neurodivergent and autistic children and their families. Kids explore at their own pace while caregivers enjoy a dedicated room for rest and connection.

Why Sensory Family Fellowship?

A place to belong—just as you are.

Your family deserves a place where you can exhale. Where your child can explore at their own pace. Where movement, vocalizations, and sensory needs are welcomed—not met with an expectation to explain or apologize. Sensory Family Fellowship is a ministry for neurodivergent and autistic children in kindergarten through 12th grade and their families. We make room for different ways of communicating, playing, and connecting—because belonging shouldn’t depend on fitting in.

Room to explore. Freedom to pause.

From music and hands-on art to tactile play and quiet reading, our sensory-focused rooms offer choices—not a checklist. Children can follow their interests, move between activities, or take a soothing break in a quiet corner. There’s no pressure to join a group or stay at a station. Trained volunteers offer patient support, and a Participant Profile helps us learn about your child’s communication style, sensory preferences, and comforting strategies before they arrive.

Care for your child. Community for you.

Parents and caregivers need connection, too. Stay alongside your child, or spend time in our nearby library with coffee, lemonade, and other caregivers. Talk, read, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. Siblings are warmly welcome to join the activities, making this a gathering with room for the whole family.

Come as you are. Find your place.

Join us on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:15 p.m. for free play and a gentle transition into the afternoon. We look forward to getting to know your family—at your pace.
